SAHK 60th Anniversary Celebration — The study environment of students with rare diseases
For the past 60 years, the Association continuously provide professional and high quality rehabilitation services for wide range of persons with disabilities at all ages. In order to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Association, 12 short videos were launched on different health fields and vocational rehabilitation issues, in which the Association’s professionals provided advice on different issues.
Some students in the Association's Early Education and Training Centres, Pre-school Centres and Special Schools suffer from rare diseases that cause physical disabilities. They have different special needs in both learning and school life. "The study environment of students with rare diseases” Ms CHAN Wai Ling, Registered Nurse, to share how our Special Schools provide a safe studying environment for the students with rare diseases, enabling them to develop their strength and cultivate their independent self-reliance.
