On-Site Inspection of the Siu Lam Greenery Villa
Siu Lam Greenery Villa is the largest integrated rehabilitation service complex recently established by the Association, providing 310 places for integrated vocational rehabilitation and residential services.
Several members of the Association's council and committees, including Vice-Chairperson Ms Winnie LEUNG, Mr. David YAU, Honorary Treasurer Mr. Mason WU, and committee members Ms Jacqueline CHOW, Mrs. Alice FOK, Dr. Henry KWOK, Mr. Benjamin WONG, and Ms Olga CHEW from the Adult Service Management Committee and Community Support Service Management Committee, along with Ms Ingrid LEUNG from the Children and Family Support Service Management Committee, visited Greenery Villa. They were accompanied by Acting Chief Executive Officer Ms Louise YIP, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kenneth LEE, and Committee Secretary Ms Melody MA.
During the visit, they inspected the environment and facilities, listened to reports from colleagues, and interacted with service users. The group observed the rehabilitation equipment and advanced facilities, including the automated medication dispensation system, bed sensing and monitoring system, and facial recognition anti-wandering system. They also toured the laundry room and Café Greenery in the Greenery Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, engaging with students in pottery making.
This comprehensive understanding of the daily operations of Siu Lam Greenery Villa will serve as an important reference for the Association's council and committees when reviewing service effectiveness in the future.
