Work in Mainland, Taiwan and Macau
A training programme has been set up in order to provide training in special education to organisations in mainland China. The training programme was co-organised by the SAHK, the CSDCU Education Fund and the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education from the Hong Kong Institute of Education. In August, 40 teachers and managers from special schools and rehabilitation organisations in China attended a 10-day course on the subject.
Experienced teachers and specialists from the SAHK conducted some of the classes. By sharing our experience and knowledge of different aspects of rehabilitation we hope to build a more inclusive society across China.
CEO of the SAHK, Mr. C F Fong(2nd from left), attended the opening ceremony of the training programme on special education for mainland organisations.
Organisers and the participants of the programme aim to improve the quality of special education in China.
