Representatives from The Community Chest of Hong Kong visited B M Kotewall Memorial School
The Community Chest of Hong Kong has been supporting the development of the Association for many years including funding for the implementation of Conductive Education in 3 special schools under the Association. On 24 October this year, two committee members of The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Dr. Phyllis Kwok-ling CHAN and Mr. Timothy MA, JP visited B M Kotewall Memorial School; the Chairperson of the Association, Mrs. Josephine M. W. TSUI PANG, BBS, MH, Mr. Alric C. H. TANG, Supervisor of B M Kotewall Memorial School and Honorary Legal Advisor of the Association, Mr. Kenneth K. L. LEE , Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ms Louise W. Y. YIP, Acting Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Chris K. H. Kan, former Chief Program Officer and Senior Physiotherapist of the Association arrived the school and welcomed the committee members.
Upon arrival at the school, the guests enjoyed the coffee and tea brewed by the students at the school’s BMK Café and interacted with the parents to learn more about the learning experiences about the practice of Conductive Education at home and in the school. Afterward, the guests observed the students’ learning and the experience of receiving trainings in order to understand the various supports provided by The Community Chest to the school, which is very important and benefits the students a lot.

YIP, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Association (first left), and Ms Zoe W. Y. LAI, the Principal of the school (second right) welcomed the guests together.
The students prepared coffee and tea to greet the guests.
The students and their parents shared the benefits of Conductive Education in the sharing session.
