Serving Those in Their Late Stage of Life with Compassion and Dignity
Life's stages—birth, ageing, illness, and death—are inevitable. Research indicates that individuals with disabilities are more susceptible to issues such as early deterioration of physical functioning. The "Jockey Club End-of-life Community Care Project", planned and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, aims to help people with disabilities live with dignity in their later years, enhancing their quality of life while alleviating the emotional burden on caregivers.
As the organiser, the Association warmly invites you to become a volunteer for the Project. After completing the training provided by the Association, volunteers will assist in organising activities such as dream fulfilment projects and group sessions. Volunteering not only enables you to support those with terminal illnesses but also offers a valuable opportunity for personal exploration and self-care, deepening your appreciation of life's worth.
