The Parents Resource Hub ─ Self-realisation
The Parents Resource Hub regularly hosts different activities such as workshops and talks, aims at strengthening education for parent and public while enriching the lives of parents.
The Association invited three parents of adult service users to share their experiences of participating in the Association’s Parents Resource Hub through short videos. In the first episode, 雪芳 (Chinese only), a service user who takes the lead, shares how she relaxes by participating in aromatherapy, which gives her a sense of accomplishment. Carers should also remember to preserve their interests and values while taking care of their loved ones.
The Association established the Parents Resource Hub using the funding from the Community Chest. It focuses on supporting parents of adult service users of the Association. Its mission is to help these parents relax, connect with other caregivers and eventually, empower them to support themselves and one another.
