Happy Anniversary of Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre and East Kowloon Parents Resource Centre
This year is the big day of the 30th anniversary of the Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre and the 20th anniversary of the East Kowloon Parents Resource Centre respectively. The Association held the activity "「聯繫‧結伴同行家長資源中心周年誌慶聚會」" (Chinese Only) on 8 December to celebrate the anniversary of both centres . In addition to the service users, colleagues and volunteers of the two centres, important persons from the Association also came to congratulate them, including the Chairperson of the Council, Mrs. Josephine M. W. TSUI PANG, BSS, MH, and the former and current Volunteer Supervisors of the Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre, Mrs. Annie K. H. LEE LIANG and Ms Vivian S. Y. TSUI, as well as the Association's Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms Edith S. K. HUNG, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kenneth K. L. LEE and Mrs. Dawn S. F. In addition to bouquets and souvenirs, the audience also applauded to express their sincere thanks to Mrs. Annie K. H. LEE LIANG who has served the Association for many years.
A series of talent performances were held on the day of the party, with children performing African drums, cup stacking, Ukulele, singing and dancing and taekwondo on the stage. Parents all participated, not only sharing their experiences at the centres, but also performing a fan dance on stage. The various performances showed that under the cultivation of the centres, children are helped to develop different strengths, and parents also get to know and support each other through the connection of the centres.
Thanks to the TEAMMUDO TAEKWONDO HK for their earnest teachings to the children in the centres, and the special photography group Infinity Hero, who transformed into Kamen Superman and Power Rangers, performed at the event.
The audience also applauded to express their sincere thanks to Mrs. Annie K. H. LEE LIANG who has served the Association for many years.
