The closing ceremony of Jockey Club C.Care Programme - SAHK Carers Support Service

Jockey Club C.Care Programme - SAHK Carers Support Service came to a successful conclusion in February this year. The Association held a closing ceremony earlier to review and commemorate the programme with the service users.

Ms Edith S. K. HUNG (Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Association) delivered a speech at the Ceremony, which was also attended by Ms Nelly LI, Senior Manager, Charities of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the project funding agency. The ceremony included various segments, such as sharing sessions where the carers sharing their experiences, workout demonstrations presented by occupational therapists, art workshops and lucky draws. In conclusion, the programme has successfully helped carers in learning how to care for their own physical and mental health while taking care of their families. The Association remains committed to providing diverse and appropriate services to the people with disabilities, their families and carers, all aims at building an inclusive society.
