Being the boss and practicing the spirit of inclusion

Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre, Erik Kvan Workshop and Hostel jointly organised the "I want to be the boss 2025" event from 23rd to 28th January. They set up a Chinese New Year fair stall at the Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan. The service users were responsible for the stall’s daily operations with the assistance from the Association’s colleagues. This experience allowing them to learn sales skills and accumulate experience in communicating with public, giving them more confidence to integrate into society.

"I want to be the boss 2025" has a variety of Chinese New Year products on sale, most of them are made by the service users of Erik Kvan Workshop, including hand-woven Chinese New Year flower pots and Daruma dolls, as well as Chinese New Year pictures drawn by the parents of service users. The proceeds will be allocated to the expenses of "I want to be the boss" event in next year. The Association would like to once again thank the service users and their parents who participated in the event, as well as the citizens who came to show their support, and wish everyone progress and all the best in the new year.
