A student from B M Kotewall Memorial School participated in the 10km race of Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon

Mr. YU Cheng Hao, a student from B M Kotewall Memorial School once again took part in the 10km race of Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. Prior to the event, he committeed himself to extensive training, and his efforts was supported by the School’s physiotherapist, Mr. LAI Tak Wai, who served as his guide runner. As a result, Mr. YU finished the race in a time of 2 hours 20 minutes 26 seconds.

Mr. YU recalled his experience of participating in this competition. Although he had foot pain at the beginning of the race and had to go to the first aid station for treatment, he refused to abandon the race halfway through. After receiving the necessary care, he promptly returned to the track and persevered until the end. Even though he failed to break his last performance, he insisted on completing the whole race. The Association wishes Mr. YU a speedy recovery and hopes he can achieve his wish in the next race.
