Launch Ceremony of the 'Joyful Learning Heart' Nurturing Scheme Successfully Held
With an exclusive sponsorship of HK$1 million from OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (OCBC Hong Kong), the Association jointly launched a two-year "Joyful Learning Heart" Nurturing Scheme. This initiative aims to promote Approaches to Learning(AtL) for young children with special educational needs, their parents, and educators. The programme will feature a series of engaging activities, including nursery rhymes, a colouring competition, game days, volunteer initiatives, and educational outreach efforts. Its objective is to foster the correct character traits in young children from an early age, thereby promoting their overall learning and development. The programme is expected to benefit around 10,000 young children and their families.
For the solemn occasion, the Association launched a Kick-off Ceremony on 20 March, Mr. Kenneth LEE, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Association, Ms Angel FAN, Head of Children of Family Support Service, Ms TANG Ka Man, Educational Psychologist, the service users and their parents, as well as Ms Sam CHAN, Head, Brand and Communications of OCBC Hong Kong and volunteers from the Bank joined together.
