Children with Special Needs stroller
The Association's Jockey Club Rehabilitation Seating Service Centre has been providing rehabilitation seating assessment and production services to different people in the community. The Centre specially introduced strollers designedand produced by Convaid from the U.S. These strollers not only offer suitable seats options for children with special needs but also have the following features:
- Durable and light-weight
- Foldable (folding varies by model)
- Easy to carry
- Available in a variety of seat widths
- Adjustable seating depth and footrest length for accommodate children’s different stages of growth
The Centre mainly offers 4 types of Convaid children's strollers, including EZ Rider, Cruiser, Rodeo and Coaster. The main difference among these models lies in their sitting position. Different seat angles are suitable for children with different development conditions, making it essential to understand the child’s seating positing before choosing a stroller.
EZ Rider：Provides 10°fixed tilt angle for enhanced seating position
Cruiser：Offers a fixed tilt angle of 30°to improve postural control of upper body
Coaster：Provides fixed tilt angle of 10°/20°/30° to improve the postural control of upper body
Rodeo：Provides an adjustable tilt angle of up to 45° adjustable for pressure relief and upper body support
