The Association Welcomes Korean Delegation to Visit the New Territories West Integrated Community Rehabilitation Centre
The Association is dedicated to nurturing talent within the industry and seeks opportunities for interaction and exchange with peers to share experiences. In April 2025, 29 representatives from the Gyeongbuk Association of Welfare Centres for the Disabled in South Korea visited the Association's New Territories West Integrated Community Rehabilitation Centre, accompanied by Mr. Mr MOK Yuen kwan, the member of Tsuen Wan District Council.
During the visit, Ms Nancy SHAW, Senior Manager of the Centre, Mr. Felix CHEUK, Manager and Mr. Dino HUNG, Chief Programme Officer of the Association, along with a team of occupational therapists and social workers, provided insights into the Association's development history and current status. They also introduced the various services and facilities provided by the Centre. The visiting delegates from Korea showed great interest in the Centre's specialised equipment and technological resources. They were also actively engaging with questions.
As a token of appreciation, the Association presented commemorative gifts to the representatives, hoping that this exchange would be mutually beneficial for both parties.
