30th Anniversary Celebration of Shek Wai Kok Pre-school Centre
The Association has been established for 62 years and has many long-running service units, such as Shek Wai Kok Pre-school Centre in Tsuen Wan. This year is the Centre’s 30th anniversary and the Association organised Centre’s 2024/25 Graduation Ceremony cum 30th Anniversary Celebration at Shek Wai Kok Community Hall on 2nd July.
The event was very lively that day, with about 200 participants. In addition to the children and parents of the Centre, and a group of colleagues, several important guests were present to officiate at the ceremony, including Ms CHAN Shuk Ying, Asst Dist Social Welfare Officer, and Dr. Irene T. F. HO, Vice Chairperson of Children and Family Support Service Management Committee and Volunteer Supervisor of the Centre, Mr. Edmond Y. P. LAU, , Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kenneth K. L. LEE, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Ms Angel W. Y. FAN, Head of Children and Family Support Service of the Association. They all enjoyed the wonderful performance by the children, and the sharing session conducted by the parents. They also witnessed the significant ceremony of issuing graduation certificates, which symbolised the Centre and the graduates welcoming a new future together.
The Centre’s altogether will continue to work hard to provide strong support to more children in need and help them grow well.
In addition to young children, their parents are also the Centre's service users and supporters.
The parents shared their experiences and memorable stories at the Centre during the event.
More than 200 Centre’s service users and colleagues gathered together to celebrate the Centre’s 30th anniversary.
