Alumni’s effort to reach the Paralympic stage

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games was successfully completed, Ms YAM Kwok Fan (Kwok Fan), an alumnus of B M Kotewall Memorial School, and Ms CHEUNG Yuen (Yuen), an alumnus of Apleichau Pre-school Centre participated in this event as athletes of the Hong Kong Team.

Kwok Fan participated in the Women's T36 100m and 200m sprint events at the Paris Paralympic Games, but unfortunately failed to qualify for the next round of events, while Yuen won the silver medal in the Women's Individual Boccia BC4 event at the event. Regardless of whether they won awards or not, it is a remarkable achievement for them to reach the Paralympics stage which embodies the spirit of the Association's "Succeed & Advance", and their efforts to break through are worthy of our encouragement.
