Association’s Art Exhibition ‘一手一腳藝術展’ Praised for Promoting Social Inclusion
Association’s Art Exhibition "一手一腳藝術展" is held at the Kwun Tong Promenade Vessel platform, aims to promote that service users can break boundaries and demonstrate their talents despite having different physical disabilities.
The opening ceremony featured several distinguished guests, including Ms Teresa P. Y. AU, Chairperson of Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities, Membership for Grants Sub-committee; Mr FONG Cheung-fat, JP, Deputy Chairperson of Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities, Membership for Grants Sub-committee; Mr. LEUNG Po Wah, Taddy, District Social Welfare Officer (Kwun Tong), Social Welfare Department Kwun Tong District Social Welfare Office; Mr. TSANG Wing Fai, Member of Kwun Tong District Council; Mr. Benjamin WONG, Acting Chairperson of Adult Service Management Committee of the Association; Ms Jacqueline CHOW, Member of Adult Service Management Committee of the Association and Ms Winnie HUI, Head of Adult Service of the Association.
During Ms Au’s speech, she emphasised the significance of the exhibition, stating that it not only showcases the artistic achievements of people with disabilities but also expresses their inner worlds, demonstrating limitless creativity and talent while promoting social inclusion.
