Jockey Club A-Connect: Jockey Club Autism Support Network – Family Support

In recent years, the number of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) studying in ordinary primary and secondary schools has been increasing continuously. To provide a comprehensive support service to students and parents in need, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust has pioneered a three-year programme specially for ASD - "JC A-Connect: Jockey Club Autism Support Network” since September 2015. The Association was invited as one of the organisations to provide service.

For the service component of Family Support, the Association provides various services for children, students and adolescents who suspected/ diagnosed with ASD and their families. The services include:

Parent Education Courses/ Talks/ Groups Positive Parenting Narrative Therapy Emotion Management Stress Coping Social Development of Adolescents Parent-child Interactive Workshops Sensory Integration Attention Training Social Communication Executive Functioning Theory of Mind PEERS® (PEERS® for Adolescents with ASD) Mutual Support Networks for Parents Preparation of transition Experience of educating Peer Support Voluntary Activities Family Support Programmes Couples Relationship Interaction of Siblings Trans-generational parenting Parent-child Activities Family Activities Public Education Programmes Understanding ASD Knowing the needs and support services of ASD families

Service Hours：
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m-5 p.m.
(Service hours adjustable to needs-basis)
